StreetCube has been devised with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) at the heart of our ethos.
Our mantra, that ‘Good Food Doesn’t Have To Cost The Earth’, means that we pay very close attention to the quality of the food that is prepared and sold at every StreetCube ensuring that we use zero plastics, send nothing to landfill, and we use only local, seasonal and sustainable produce in every meal we serve.
StreetCube is part of a food movement that seeks to work within communities and towns to draw attention to the benefits of a more sustainable approach to food. Engaging growers, chefs, producers and foodies with communities, to bring better cohesion, healthier food, and a more sustainable system overall..
We work very closely to observe Sustainable Development Goals, as laid down by the United Nations.
The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice.
The Goals interconnect and in order to leave no one behind, it ís important that we achieve each Goal and target by 2030. Click on any specific Goal below to learn more about each issue.
In order to ensure that StreetCube remains focused on these goals, and to ensure that our project is achieving these goals,
we invite and engage with a number of respected experts, who collaborate with and help to steer our project in the right direction,
giving advice and guidance as well as practical support and help.
We call these people, our ‘Trusted Advocates’
‘Trusted Advocates’ are carefully selected individuals, experts, industry professionals, growers, academics, chefs,
community leaders and those we trust and rely upon for help and advice. StreetCube is a ‘collective’
enterprise - we welcome everyone and anyone to join us and get involved.
StreetCube aims to bring a more sustainable ethos into communities through the love of sustainable street gastronomy,
by doing so, this will help grow the need for better organic, locally sourced foods, which in turn will raise a better,
more healthier awareness of what we eat, how it’s grown, and how we interact with our planet and one another.
We always want to ensure that we get it right, at every step. Please Join Us
